Mexico Missions
We may not be at Pilot Knob any longer, but our thoughts are certainly with MaryLou and Jack, Glee and John, and all of those who continue to visit families in Mexico on a regular basis.
Thanks to the many of you that have expressed an interest in helping fund "The House" (it isn't named yet but will be soon) and all of the important work done in Algodones. Many of you have inquired about Dulce. As far as I know she is "holding her own" - it will be a few days before we know if the rectum is going to work properly - your continued prayers are needed.
Since spring is coming to the south, it will soon be time for the Stobers to head to Canada. If you haven't sent a check yet and want to do so, please send it to this address before March 15th.

or use this summer address after March 15th. The money will still go to "The House" or Papa's Mission work.

I understand that for many of you, this is a leap of faith to send money to a lady you have never met for a cause only I have told you about. I guess you just have to trust that your money will be well used - I have seen "the books" and know that all money is well accounted for. We have, also, seen the need and it is very real.
Did you know that $1.00 an hour is a "good" wage in Mexico. Amazing the different world on the other side of the fence.
The last time we "went over", we stopped to visit with a lady who makes aprons on an early electric sewing machine. She starts work after 8 pm when the kids are in bed and then during the day, she "works the line" by customs and sells those carefully crafted aprons to tourists. MaryLou dropped off some fabric for this hard working lady; if she can keep overhead down, she will have more money for her family.
Thanks for your continued prayers and support. Dios te ama.
