A Day on Canyon Lake

Today it rained for just about the entire day and the temperature barely made it to 60.  The only thing that made it a good day was that Bonnie and Barry were here to play games, share dinner and talk smart.  Tomorrow looks to be much of the same rainy weather with even cooler temps... BUT, this past Tuesday was a picture perfect day in the 70's and we spent it enjoying the company of Tud and Diane on beautiful Canyon Lake.

The scenery on this lake is absolutely amazing - from the men hiding in the rocks ( see the old prospector?)

to the panoramic views.

The colors,

the shapes,

the grandeur,

the animals,

(Yes, we did see a sheep - but only one and it was a young one).

and, of course, the people

combined to make it a mighty fine day.
