"House of Dreams"
The house in Mexico has a name and is awash in activity. For years, the house was just a dream and now it is a reality. There are two fulltime residents; a 2-year old girl and a 10 year old girl. And on any given day there are 12 - 15 children who come before and after school or for a whole day of care.
I understand that two boys who arrived last week LOVE the shower they get to take before going to school... gosh, the things we take for granted.
As some of the children are in that tough 9 - 12 year old range, Delia and MaryLou are looking for activities - any suggestions?
Any chance you are getting a new laptop soon - the House of Dreams could really use a computer for Delia to use in record keeping as well as for the children to use. The ones we think are outdated may very well fill the bill. Let me know if you have one you would like to donate.
Dulce is doing well and will be getting solid food in a day or two; she has been able to pass gas... that's a good sign. (Gosh, I never thought I would write that line on a public forum.)
Keep up the prayers for our young neighbors to the south.
