The Week In Review

Last week started with a real treat. All summer long, I have been trying to get together with Bridget's family and it finally worked for both of us. We enjoyed each other's company for a few hours and her children entertained us - what a beautiful family!

Grace is into posing...

And Lily is always moving...

And this may not be the best picture of Bridget or me, but what the heck ... it was taken by a four year old!

It was a wonderful way to start the week.

Later on in the week, my cousin, Cheryl, and I visited my mom for the day. We enjoyed conversation about today's events and yesteryear. Mom even bought us lunch at the local cafe. It was another great day that made me more aware of how lucky I am to still have my mom in my life. Like Cheryl says, "She is still really with it!".

I spent a bit of week working on a project for a wedding shower present for our grandson's bride. It was fun to find old pictures of the groom and turn them into "No Excuse Dish Towels". Thanks Bobbi for the idea of pictures on towels.

They were a big hit with Sara, the soon-t0-be bride.
(If you click on the picture below, you can see the completed towels.) And now, I am home alone as Mike is up north fishing. I am lonesome but looking forward to a week filled with activity. Later...
