The Falls At Night

It was rainy last night but we donned our rain coats and headed over to Goat Island to view the falls. The signs today told us that falls would be lighted fromn 8:30 to midnight so how could we pass it up.

This was the view from the spotlight - lots of raindrops on the lens.

This eeerie picture of horseshoe falls was the best I could do.






The casino on the Canadian side showed up nicely through the ever-present haze and mist.
The American and Bridal Veil Falls looked pretty but no color was present.


Just as we were walking back to car, Bonnie spotted the colors changing and we were in for yet another view of these famous falls.





Niagara Falls was a wonderful place to visit; it should be viewed in person by all!

We have now moved to the Finger Lakes Area and I'll be darned if it isn't wine country. More on that later!
